On the 30th November 2023, I felt the Lord’s heart for Ukraine and asked Him what he wanted to say.
‘Ukraine, Ukraine, how I love you. Your best days are ahead of you. I am restoring what the locusts have eaten. I am redeeming the time and bringing you to a place of accelerated restoration and rebuilding.
There has been an intense shaking that you have endured, but in the process, I have been prising loose the enemy’s grip. I am releasing a sound of freedom into your midst, that will release you into a deeper fullness of my restoration.
Fix your eyes on Me. Strengthen yourselves in the Lord and I will fortify you and will cause you to be replete and satisfied once more.
Don’t fear what lies in darkness, for I am shining My light in those places to reveal what is hidden, “for I reveal deep and hidden things, I know what lies in darkness, and light dwells with Me” (Dan 2:22).
I am releasing fresh vision to My people in Ukraine – they will see with new perspectives and have vision once again. I am restoring them to dream once more.
I am releasing the Builders – those who will assess, and lay strategies and plans to rebuild. My Beloveds, I am with you, and I am for you. I am even One who comes as the Repairer of the Breach and the Restorer of streets to dwell in.
My eyes are on your children, and I will heal them, encourage them, lift them up and give them new hope. Many will run to Me and will become My mouthpieces and witnesses to My Goodness and Glory.
Ukraine, Beloved, I love you. I will restore you for I am the God of the turnaround, the One who breaks through for you. I will give you beauty for ashes and a garment of praise for heaviness, for I am with you and will be faithful to you.’
I believe the Lord would love to have us partner with Him and pray for Ukraine and the whole region. I believe the best way to pray is to let go of our own opinions and ask Him what He would like us to pray.
