I had a sense recently of some in a time of a ‘cusp of fulfilment’. Fulfilment is described in the Oxford Languages Dictionary as “the achievement of something desired, promised or predicted.”

I had an image of a body of water rocking from side to side, edging towards the cusp, ready to flow over into fulfilment.

I was reminded of Revelation 5:8, which speaks of the golden bowls of incense, which are likened to our prayers, about to be tipped over into answered prayer and promises fulfilled.

A friend sent me this verse later the same day:

“This is why I wait upon You, expecting Your breakthrough, for Your Word brings me hope.” Psalm 130:5 (TPT)

For those who are contending for a shift, a change or a breakthrough, may I encourage you to press into the Rock, the Breaker Himself, “for the One who breaks open the way, will go up before them; they will break through the gate and go out.” Micah 2:13 (NIV)

He will go before us to break through barriers of containment and confinement.

For those in a time of waiting, I sensed the Lord say:

“Beloveds I am leading you, preparing and positioning you. I am bringing you into some convergences of place, time, gifts, experience and desires. I am breaking up fallow ground and beginning to release you into a new way and a new day.”

I sense the Lord is inviting us into a posture much like a surfer about to catch a wave – poised, yet at rest, in expectancy, stillness and readiness. There’s a degree of ‘letting go’ in order to apprehend the wave He has for each one, for “in quietness and trust is our strength.” Isaiah 30:15 (NASB)

I sense that as the wave swells beneath us, increasing in weight and strength, we are positioning ourselves to rest upon it, to carry us where we need to go.

I sensed Him continue, “Beloved, you will begin to see ripples and swells of fulness around and beneath you, as you look. They might come in aha moments, revelatory insights, confirmations and encouragements from Me or through others.

Position yourself in “still-motion”; stillness within but moving as I lead.

I will give you the capacity to discern the things to do, or steps to take, for “as you acknowledge Me in all your ways, I will make your paths straight.’” Proverbs 3:6 (NASB)

Do not pull back in passivity, or apathy right now. Trust Me, for I am good and am working on your behalf.
