In July of 2025, whilst praying with a group of friends who are pioneering different Ministries, I saw a picture of a golden hinge, and felt the Lord say, “We are moving into a hinge season”.
[I will add that since that time, other prophetic voices have also discerned this hinge season / moment].
The hinge speaks to me of a pivotal time, where the opportunity for moving into new things, new assignments and possibly even new alignments may begin to present themselves.
It speaks of a season of flexibility and being able to pivot quickly at the sound of His voice.
He spoke this to me recently, “Some things will come suddenly. Stay flexible, so you can shift and pivot easily. Be willing to be stretched, enlarged and directed.
Allow your comfort to be challenged.
Keep doing new things, taking risks at My leading, knowing that I’ve got you – even your reputation.
Ask Me to help you break out into all that I have for you.
I am doing a new thing.
Look up and look forward”.
Some of us have felt like we are in a time of transition and waiting for movement, where the pressing has even felt intense.
I believe this speaks of the gold in the hinge where He has been doing a deeper work of refining us and removing some things, in the pressing.
We will come forth as gold, carrying a greater weight of His glory and Presence, with fresh oil.
I sense Him say, “Let the pressure and the process of this pressing, propel you towards My Presence.
In My Presence is peace; in My Presence is joy; in My Presence are times of refreshing and all you need to navigate this season of change”.
